About me


My name is Iria (pronouced: eye-RHEE-ah), and I am a 3rd year physics Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University conducting research in Quantum Information Theory. Broadly speaking, I am fascinated by the elegance of mathematical models used to capture real-world phenomena, and how these models are leveraged towards developing innovative yet practical technologies and numerical methods. Currently, my research focuses on quantum algorithms for classical optimization problems and secure cloud quantum computing strategies.

Previously, I studied physics, computer science, and mathematics at Brandeis University. I conducted research in high-energy particle physics at the ATLAS experiment in CERN.

In my free time, I enjoy skiing and staying active at the gym. I also explore Chinese and Korean makeup techniques as a creative hobby.
